Nominate or be nominated as the Coach for your team at the start of the season.
Please note: Coaching childrens teams require a current working with childrens check with Service NSW.

Find more information on how to get started as a football coach
We recommend that you watch a number of introductory short videos provided by the FFA to get you started as a football coach. If you’re interested in a Grassroots training course, talk to us. These are run in the season and are at no cost to you.
FFA Coaching hub
The FFA Coaching Hub has a number of free online resources to help you. We have included direct links to specific pages relating to the 4 building blocks that have the training sessions, tips and overview of the specific phase. Remember if your side is not so advanced, you can use ideas and techniques from previous phases.
