Club Registrations
Registrations for Season 2026 will be completed through the National Online Registration System, PlayFootball.
If you have previously registered in PlayFootball, you will have an account. If this is your first time registering in PlayFootball, you will need to choose New to Football and create an account.

Please note: DO NOT register in PlayFootball if you are attending Team Formations. Marrickville FC’s Admin Team will advise when you can proceed with the PlayFootball Registration.

If you played with a Marrickville FC Team last Winter Season and wish to be regraded or be placed in a new team
Formed a team that hasn’t played for Marrickville FC
If you have a few friends or a team wishing to join Marrickville FC for the first time, please email the names, DOBs and previous Club/playing history (for the last 2 years if applicable)
Returning team
If your 2025 Winter Team is returning and you are remaining in this team, or are a new player in a 2025 returning team, continue with player registration via PlayFootball.
Under 6’s and Under 7’s
Register your interest to sign up your child to play in our own unique internal competition.

2026 Registration Fees
Registrations for Season 2026 will be completed through PlayFootball.
Players returning from the 2025 Season are to select the Returning Player Product. The Registration Fees have been reduced for returning players as we will be continuing with the 2025 playing kit. New players will receive a playing kit of jersey, shorts and socks.
Marrickville FC portion of the registration fees covers, but is not limited to:
- Yearly grounds hire to Inner West Council;
- Ground maintenance and lighting;
- New Socks for all players;
- Training balls and match balls;
- Coaching development;
- Training equipment;
- Referee payments
- Mobile goals maintenance;
- End of year gift and trophies;
- End of year presentations;
- Admin and club operations;
- GST transaction fee (to cover charges levied by the bank/payment services provider).
The 2026 registration player fee is as follows:
- Under 6 & 7 – $260 (kit provided)
- Under 8 – $285 (kit provided)
- Under 10, 11 & 12 -$260 (returning player); $305 (new player)
- Under 13 & 14 – $290 (returning player); $335 (new player)
- Under 15 & 16 – $300 (returning player); $350 (new player)
- Under 17 & 18- $310 (returning player); $365 (new player)
- Seniors – $430 (returning player); $490 (new player)
- Coaches – $0
- Managers -$0
- Flaming Devils- All Abilities- $0
All players registered with Marrickville FC MUST have their registration fee paid in full prior to playing any Football Canterbury sanctioned match.
Due to insurance and or liability requirements, a player should not take the field unless his / her registration has been paid in full.
New players should wait until they are allocated a team before paying their fees.
Players must be registered by 26th February 2025 to enable the team to be submitted to Football Canterbury for the competition.
Active Kids Voucher
Marrickville FC is a registered organisation with Service NSW and the Active Kids Rebate Scheme. You must obtain your Active Kids Voucher Code before you register with Marrickville FC.
Obtain your Voucher Code
- Go to the NSW Government Active Kids website
- You will need to verify some details e.g. Medicare card
- Complete personal details and receive your 16-digit voucher code.
- Make a note of this voucher code for future reference.
The voucher code obtained will be entered into the payment section when you register. You will not be able to go back and add the voucher once you have completed the registration, even if you do not complete payment.
Players Kit
The Marrickville FC Macron kit is for Under 8 to Seniors. This is issued for season 2024 and 2025 (two years). Players who lose their kit will need to purchase a replacement. For the Under 6 and 7’s their kit is for the 2024 season ONLY.
Refunds
A player’s total registration fee is made up of a number of components. These being:
- Football Australia (FA) National Registration Fee (NRF);
- Football NSW (FNSW) Capitation, including Insurance;
- Football Canterbury Association Fee; and
- Club Fee.
Before registering and paying the fees, please read the refund section in the FAQs.
The player will need to action the deregistration and refund in Play Football. Marrickville FC is only able to refund the Club Fees (as per the refund policy).
If you have used an Active Kids voucher as part payment, this will not be refunded to you. Your new club or sport will need to email info@marrickvillefc.org.au with their bank details so we can transfer the Active Kids Voucher money.
