The NSW Government notes that National Cabinet endorsed the Framework for Rebooting Sport in a COVID-19 Environment developed by the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) on Friday 1 May 2020.
The NSW Public Heath Order signed on the 30th of March 2020, remains in force and prohibits exercise in groups of greater than two.
The NSW Government is considering these issues alongside the other restrictions and will update the community should any changes to the Public Health Orders be made.
Kind Regards.

IMPORTANT
ALERT
Dear Registered Football Participant,
You are receiving this message because you are currently registered with
Football Federation Australia (FFA) to participate in football.
Last month, FFA and Australia’s nine Member Federations, suspended grassroots
football until April 14 due to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic.
In light of ongoing developments since that announcement, including stricter
measures imposed by the Federal Government in response to COVID-19, the
temporary suspension to sanctioned grassroots football competitions has today
been extended through to at least May 31, 2020.
To read more about this extension to the temporary suspension to the grassroots
season, please click here.
FFA, together with its Member Federations, will continue to communicate and
monitor the COVID-19 situation in the lead up to May 31, 2020, and remain
optimistic that football competitions will be able to take place in 2020. The
safety of the football community remains our top priority at this time, with
the health and wellbeing of our football family to be at the forefront of any
decisions made regarding the resumption of play.
In order to help the grassroots football community stay active and connected
throughout the temporary suspension period, FFA recently launched an online
Skills Hub, developed in association with each of Australia’s nine Member
Federations. To access the Skills Hub and get involved with the
#PlayAtHomeChallenge, please visit the FFA Skills Hub.
Yours sincerely,
James Johnson – FFA Chief Executive Officer

The Canterbury & District Soccer Football Association (CDSFA) places the health and well-being of all football participants including players, coaches, officials, staff, and volunteers as its priority.
As you are no doubt aware, COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is a quickly evolving global situation. Circumstances may potentially alter daily.
After proper consideration, consultation with the Football governing bodies, taking account of Government advice around gatherings of people and trying to assist in “flattening the curve” of COVID-19, CDSFA has made the decision to suspend all Football activity until Tuesday 14th April 2020.
This suspension of all Football activity includes all games (including trials), training, meetings, courses and any other Football related event.
CDSFA plans to commence the 2020 Football season fixtures on Friday 1st May (O35s), with the remainder of competitions to commence on Saturday 2nd May and Sunday 3rd May. Should this start date change, we will notify all our stakeholders.
At this time, the CDSFA Office will remain open. However, if things change rapidly and where possible, CDSFA staff may start working from home. We will advise all CDSFA clubs when and if such a decision is made.
CDSFA will use this shutdown period to gather further information to assist our stakeholders in addressing issues related to participating in grassroots/amateur sport and minimising risk when the Football actually resumes.
CDSFA will continue to monitor the situation and will continue to provide updates to our football community as they come to hand.
Yours sincerely
Ian Holmes
Chief Executive Officer
CDSFA
