Please be advised that the issuance of Marrickville Football socks will commence on Wednesday 17 March in the canteen area Tempe reserve ( Eastern side of Fields).
Socks will only be given by club officials to a registered coach or manager of MFC. Please note that individual players will NOT be given game socks on the night - We will advise coaches and managers to NOT issue socks to those players who are not fully registered/paid .
Shorts will also go on sale on Wednesday night 6pm-8pm in the canteen area Tempe Reserve. Costs of the new Jemar shorts are $25 ( junior size 6 to 16) and $30 ( senior -SM to XL). Should players wish to purchase a second pair of socks the price is $15.00 ( all sizes). In relation to shorts purchases we ask for your perseverance as fitting will be required in change room areas.
The Treasurer and Registrar will be in attendance on Wednesday to finalise payments for players who are currently unfinancial.
Players who have not paid for their registration in full - These ID/Player cards will not be produced in time for competition commencing April 10 and 11 ( Round 1 - starts after easter weekend in school holidays). These cards should be available for round 2.
Gradings have been finalised and coaches and managers have been advised of their respective grade for season 2010.
There are still a number of coaches/managers who have NOT completed all their registration forms ( child protection forms, photos etc..). This must be completed before official trial games are held. This is a legal requirement!! You cannot take the field or recieve gear kit until you are fully registered. Please contact Georgina (registrar) on 0410658458- ASAP to arrange a mutual time to complete your paperwork.
Trail games offiically commence on Saturday 20 March 2010- VS Rockdale at Rockdale playing fields. At this stage 17 teams from U8 to Seniors will represent the club at these fixtures. Playing strips for these teams will also be available at Wednesday night in the canteen area. Playing stirps will ONLY be given to Registered coach/manager- (NO EXCEPTIONS).
Reminder- Saturday 20 March will see the “invasion” of all the U6 and U7 to Tempe Reserve from 9am to 12 noon. All under 6-7 players and coaches and managers are to be present from 9am for team formation at Tempe Reserve.
Football boots and shinpads can be purchased on Saturday 20 March from our sponsor - GOL Sports Store.
Should any coach/manager be unaware of any player’s status as to which team , payment of fees, issuance of socks- please contact Georgina, Ron, Karel or Lisa urgently for clarification.
