Under 8 to under 12  teams    From 10 am – to – 12pm

Under 13 to under 17 – teams             1pm to 3pm

There is a undercover area if it rains

Coaches and Managers  ( and PLAYERS) – Remember – You have to bring ALL your gear and players cards and balls back on Presentation day

All gear (i.e  playing shirts, training bibs, player cards, balls in good condition, nets, poles cones etc )  is to be returned to the coach/manager BEFORE presentation day - players who do not return their red team shirts will be in default to the club and will not be able to register for 2011 CDSFA season-

Coaches and managers must return gear ( as stated above) to the committee on presentation days ( see calender).

Players/teams requiring gear  for summer football- Coach/manager to contact Ron Royston(President)  to arrange new set for summer season

NO EXCEPTIONS-Please respect this process so we can conduct a proper stock take at end of season and plan the gear budget for 2011.

Cost: $30.00 per player or $45.00 for partners/friends

TEMPE IS CLOSED SATURDAY 31ST JULY AND SUNDAY 1ST AUGUST 2010 DUE TO THE WET WEATHER.

A great time was had by all on Sunday night at Grumpys Hotel for the MFC Trivia Night. The quiz master was Sean O’Connor, the coach of the 14/2.

Teams consisted of players from under 8 girls all the way through to our senior teams, coaches, managers, club officials and friends of the Red Devils.

Andrew Vezos from the AA2/A won the raffle prize, a Tim Cahill signed soccer ball.

A big thank you to Sean and Marietta (manager 10/2) for her help with the raffle and the lucky dip.

Thank you to Adam and all the staff at Grumpys Hotel for all your help in making our trivia night a success.

Thank you to everyone for supporting the night and the Marrickville Red Devils. We raised $1,000 which will help us for when we get back to Mackey Park in 2011.

Photo day is on again this saturday 24th and Sunday 25th July. Coaches and managers to collect their envelopes on wednesday or thursday at tempe from Ron or Georgie. More info will be emailed in the coming days.

Saturday 17th July and Sunday 18th July saw the Marrickville Red Devils take part in the ‘Call to Arms’ campaign.

The month of July is Call to Arms  month with all  footy codes participating in order to  raise money and awareness of mens cancer.

All teams from the under 10’s to the seniors wore a yellow armband and made a donation for mens cancer.

We had set ourselves a target of $500.00 and at present we have collected $740.00, with a few more teams still to return their envelopes.

As part of the promotion of the NEW FIFA11 computer game, Tim Cahill made a surprise visit to Tempe Reserve on Tuesday 6th July 2010. Tim chose his former junior club to promote the game and to show the junior players that dreams can come true.

The lucky few that attended got to meet the Socceroos star and  were treated to an afternoon where Tim showed off his skills and treated them to a friendly game. Tim also meet the teams and stayed to sign autographs and take photos with the red devils.

He wished the club well in the future. Marrickville Football Club presented him with some club merchandise and thanked him for always remembering the Red Devils.

Tim Cahill is a great ambassador for football and we are proud to call him a RED DEVIL!!!

MFC IS HOLDING A TRIVIA NIGHT AT GRUMPYS INN, 590 NEW CANTERBURY RD HURLSTONE PARK ON SUNDAY 18TH JULY 2010.

THE TRIVIA NIGHT WILL START AT 7.00PM AND COST WILL BE $10.00 PER PERSON. GROUPS OF 4 TO 10 PEOPLE WILL BE ALLOWED. BOOKINGS NEED TO BE MADE PRIOR TO FUNCTION AND MUST BE PAID FORIN ADVANCE FOR SEATING TO BE HELD. YOU CAN BOOK YOUR GROUP AT THE CANTEEN ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS OR ON GAMEDAYS.

IST PRIZE WILL BE $75.00 VOUCHER AT THE BAR

2ND PRIZE WILL BE $50.00 VOUCHER AT THE BAR
